Turkey hold off spirited Czech Republic for famous Euro victory
Late winner sends Turkey through
Cenk Tosun's stoppage-time strike sends Turkey through to the last 16 of Euro 2024, with a famous 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic.
The Czechs, who needed to win to progress, took the lead through Patrik Schick, but Turkey hit back through Caglar Soyuncu. Schick then missed a penalty, before Tosun snatched victory at the death.
Turkey finished second in Group F, behind England, while the Czech Republic were eliminated.
